Tap Simulator: Reborn pet tier list
Evidence-based Tap Simulator: Reborn pet tier list: the golden-diamond-rainbow ladder, Cerberus as top non-secret pet, and pets no data can rank yet.
Tap Simulator: Reborn puts the numbers you need on screen. Every hatched pet shows its tap multiplier, every egg lists its hatch odds as "1 in N" or a percentage, and every pet carries a variation tier, a level and — later — an enchant. Those displayed attributes are the only fair way to compare pets in this game, so this tier list states the criteria first and then makes placements only where recorded numbers exist on them.
The calls the numbers do support: for any single pet, normal < golden < diamond < rainbow; Cerberus, the mythic from the final void egg, is the strongest confirmed non-secret pet; and rarity labels decide nothing on their own — one player's diamond raccoon outranked their own golden mythical Queen Bee. What you will not find here is a full-roster S/A/B table: launch-week recordings come from different players at different progression points using different metrics (per-tap multiplier, pet power, coin value), so the rest of the roster genuinely cannot be ranked yet.
All figures below were recorded in the game's first days after its October 9, 2026 release, and balance updates move pet stats — re-check the displayed numbers before committing coins.
How to compare any two pets fairly
The game displays every attribute you need, on the pet itself or on its egg:
| Attribute | Where the game shows it | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| Tap multiplier | Displayed on every pet | The core strength stat. Recorded examples climb from kitty 2x and chick 6x (1 in 2) through deer 13x (1 in 5), bear 27x, nimbus B 68x (1 in 6), sky tiger 127x, unicorn 151x, angel 211x and legendary dragon 733x, up to desert scorpions at about 10,000, mushroom-area mythicals at about 58,000 and final-egg Cerberus at 192,000. Queen Bee, a 0.5% mythic, sits far below those at 681. |
| Hatch odds | Listed on every egg | From 1-in-3 commons to the 1-in-4-million Forsaken Knight secret. Odds are a fair tie-breaker inside one egg, not across the whole game. |
| Variation tier | Prefix on the pet: normal, golden, diamond, rainbow | The same pet, ordered by power — see the ladder below. |
| Level | On the pet; raised with treats | One treat bag (750 XP) took a pet from about level 10 to 64 in a single recording, and a crafted fruit boosted a level-23 pet by a couple hundred million power. Secrets level above the normal cap — one sat at 75 next to max-level normals. |
| Enchant | Named effect on the pet | Glass Cannon (+75% taps), Gambler's Pack (+30% luck), Golden Touch (+2% golden chance per pet), Power 3, Lucky 3, Precision 3 and more. An enchant can make a slightly weaker pet the better keep. |
The game itself treats these as the comparison axes: you can sort and equip-best by egg luck, clicks or gems, and equip-best even weighs enchants — one player kept a pet about 2% weaker because its Golden Touch turned 8-egg hatches into roughly a 16% golden chance per roll. Pets also roll coin and gem bonuses, which is why the separate best-for-clicks and best-for-gems sorts exist. For climbing the rankings, pet power is the leaderboard metric: one player's 97 million pet power was global rank 108.

The placements the numbers support
| Comparison | Placement | Recorded basis |
|---|---|---|
| Any pet's own versions | normal < golden < diamond < rainbow | Golden is x3 power, diamond is 7x the normal pet, and rainbow lifted a diamond Cerberus from about 1.3 million to 1.8 million — a roughly 500-million jump on the displayed stat. |
| Top non-secret pet | Cerberus (final void egg) | Named "the best pet in the game that is not a secret"; its base mythic shows 192,000, a diamond Cerberus neared a 1,000,000 multiplier, and a 2.2-million pet-power Cerberus with Hog Heaven was one player's best team pet. |
| Best egg | The final void egg | Its base mythic works out to about 60,000 coins, ahead of every other recorded egg's top hatch. |
| Desert egg | Scorpions, about 10,000 each | Godly hatches produced three of the egg's best pets at about 10,000 each. |
| Spiked egg | Unicorn (151x) over the golem (1 in 15) | Hatched side by side from the same egg; the spiked egg's bears were also "a lot better" than the starter team. |
| Spotted egg | The 1-in-20 epic at 22x | The best pet in that egg in one recording. |
| Sky-island climb | Sky tiger 127x → angel 211x → legendary dragon 733x | Each hatch "dethroned" the previous best on the same player's team. |
The variation ladder is strong enough that leaderboard players act on it: once diamond and rainbow versions fill the team, they auto-delete golden-and-under hatchlings (one player's void crawler normals sat around 48,000 while the goldens were "actually decent"), and one climber's stated goal was to keep only pets above 100,000 power. Pushing your best base pet up that ladder usually beats hatching for a rarer normal:
- Golden — feed 1–6 copies of the same pet into the gold machine. One recording says six pets give a 100% success rate, but other runs showed failed rolls (at 13% and 80%), so the exact rule isn't settled; the golden pets guide covers the crafting in detail.
- Diamond — five golden copies make a diamond (7x the normal pet). The crystal area's "fire laser" event can also mutate a pet straight to diamond, shown at 60%.
- Rainbow — five diamonds finish in 30 seconds (four take about an hour, three about 3 hours, two about 5 hours). Rainbow pets could not hatch directly from eggs until all 15 shiny stars were collected — the shiny star locations list the ones to find.
Egg odds and prices for each step are on the egg list, and the hatching flow is in the egg hatching guide.
Rarity is not strength
Rarity color — purple epic, orange legendary, reddish mythical — tells you how hard a pet is to hatch, not how hard it hits. Three recorded examples make the point:
- A diamond raccoon became one player's best pet, beating their golden mythical Queen Bee. The two-tier variation gap outweighed two rarity steps.
- A player who hatched their second secret judged it "wasn't that good" — even a 1-in-thousands hatch can arrive weaker than a crafted variation of a common pet.
- New-zone pets are not automatically better: a mushroom dog was "not even that much better," an ant from a 600-billion-coin egg didn't make the team while a fungi dragon from the same area did, and an autumn raccoon was only "almost" good enough.
So rank the measured version of a pet — its variation, level and enchant — never its rarity label. When two candidates are close, let the game's own equip-best sort for your goal (clicks, gems or egg luck) decide, since it accounts for the enchants you can't see at a glance.
Pets this tier list can't rank yet
Some pets have no comparable strength data at all, so giving them a tier letter would be invention:
- Secret pets. The index hides secret entries until you hatch them, and only their odds are documented — Forsaken Knight at 1 in 4 million (the final area's rarest) and a 1-in-500 secret in the pumpkin egg among them. No shared power measurements exist. The secret pets page tracks what's known.
- Robux Chronus egg pets. Their hatch odds are published (34%, 34%, 26% for the Celestial Timepiece, 6% for the Sands of Time mythic, 0.1% for the Chronus secret), but no strength figures were recorded — and Robux pets don't count toward the pet-power leaderboard anyway.
- Testing-server pets. Pets like the Nimbus Firefly were shown in pre-release early testing, where the game itself warned that data would be reset. Treat anything seen only there as provisional.
- Mid-game pets. Autumn, mushroom and crystal-area pets were never measured against each other on one standard, so nothing between the early eggs and the final void egg gets a placement.
- A "best enchant." Creators disagree by goal: one end-game player calls Gambler's Pack (+30% luck) the only enchant worth chasing and says taps stop mattering late, others reroll for Power 3 or call Prismatic Surge "probably the best" though it's nearly impossible to get, and a third was happy with Glass Cannon (+75% taps). Pick by whether you're hatching or tapping — don't follow a single universal pick.
How to actually pick your team
- Identify the pet. Not sure what you hatched or which egg it came from? Open the pet list to confirm the pet and its egg source.
- Compare on the displayed stat. Same egg, same variation, same level: the higher multiplier wins. Across eggs, compare the best pet each egg realistically gives you — a unicorn at 151x beats anything the basic eggs offer.
- Favor variation over rarity. A diamond or rainbow version of a decent pet usually outperforms a rarer normal, and it's the version leaderboard climbers keep. Team slots and equipping are covered in the pet team guide.
- Finish the job. Level with treats, craft up the variation ladder, and enchant after rainbow based on your goal. Coins and gems for eggs come from rebirths, chests and upgrades — active codes can top up the early grind.
FAQ
What are the best pets in Tap Simulator: Reborn? The strongest confirmed non-secret pet is Cerberus from the final void egg — 192,000 as a base mythic, near 1,000,000 as a diamond and 2.2 million pet power once enchanted. Below it, the recorded ladder runs mushroom-area mythicals (~58,000), desert scorpions (~10,000) and legendary dragons (733x). Secrets and Robux Chronus pets can't be placed because no strength figures were recorded.
Does a higher-rarity pet always beat a lower-rarity one? No. A diamond raccoon beat a golden mythical Queen Bee, and a hatched secret was called "not that good" by its owner. Compare the displayed multiplier, variation tier, level and enchant instead of the color.
Can you hatch rainbow pets from eggs? Per one recording, no — rainbow hatching stayed locked until all 15 shiny stars around the map were collected. Until then, craft rainbows at the rainbow machine: five diamonds take 30 seconds, while smaller batches take up to five hours.
