Tap Simulator: Reborn How to Unlock Islands: Gate Prices and Route

The checked route to every island in Tap Simulator: Reborn: break the 700 tap power spawn bridge, buy each gate from Sky Island (10 million) to Shadow World (19 quadrillion), or double-jump up instead, then travel by teleport.

Every island in Tap Simulator: Reborn shows its unlock requirement right on its own gate, and there are only two ways past one: pay the price at the gate, or jump up to the island with enough double jumps. Before any of that, you have to break the bridge at spawn — it takes 700 tap power, and until you click it down, none of the island portals appear. From there the route runs Sky Island (10 million) → Autumn (13 billion) → Mushroom (500 billion) → Desert (45 trillion) → Crystal Cave (500–600 trillion) → Shadow World (19 quadrillion), currently the end of the map.

One caveat before you grind: these numbers were checked in launch-week footage from October 2026, and the game's creators openly expect new worlds in updates. Treat the figure printed at each gate as the live source of truth.

Break the spawn bridge first: 700 tap power

The first gate is not an island but the bridge at spawn. It displays a 700 tap power check, and the interaction is simply to click or tap the bridge itself until it falls — three recorded day-one runs show the same requirement and the same result: the bridge comes down and the portals to every world appear. Breaking it matters beyond travel, too. The index machine (your pet collection) stays locked until the bridge is defeated, and the area's new 300k-coin egg only becomes reachable after it falls.

Island requirements in progression order

Each gate shows how much is still missing while you save — one player read "7 million to go" under the Sky Island portal — and the quest log names the next unlock with its cost ("Then we have to unlock the autumn, which is 13 billion clicks"). Creators describe the currency as clicks or coins interchangeably; it appears to be the same tap counter, so read the exact figure at the gate.

How to buy an island at its gate

  1. Find the price. Walk up to the next island's gate structure past the spawn bridge, or open the quest log, which names the next unlock and its cost.
  2. Cover the price. Tap, hatch, rebirth and open chests until your counter reaches the number. The coins guide covers the earning side, and active codes can speed up the grind.
  3. Buy at the gate. Step into the gate structure and make the purchase once your counter covers the price.
  4. Recognize success. An unlock animation plays and the game teleports you straight into the new island — the exact sequence shown at Sky Island ("we just walk inside of here, purchase the area... we're teleporting. So, here it is. Sky Island"), and again at Autumn, Mushroom, Desert and the final area.

The purchase is one-time; once an island is unlocked it stays yours.

The double-jump parkour alternative

Every island can also be reached without paying. Buy double jumps with gems at the jump machine, then jump up the cloud path until you land on the island — arriving there unlocks it. One creator who favors this route calls jumping "the easiest way to get to new areas," and a day-one player made the first island's jump without buying anything at all.

Know the costs and risks before you commit:

  • Jump prices rise steeply. The second jump cost 50k gems and the third 440k gems in one run; prices beyond those early tiers were not shown. The game nudges you toward the machine as soon as you can afford the next jump.
  • Gems come mainly from rebirths, so the rebirth guide feeds this route.
  • You can fall. At least one transparent cloud dropped a player to the very bottom of the map, after which they simply bought the island with clicks instead. A creator with only two jumps planned each hop carefully to avoid failing the route.
  • The jump purchase itself can fail if you cannot afford it — "Double jump purchase. Oh, I can't buy this."

Buying versus jumping is a playstyle split, not a solved question: some players buy every island, others never pay a coin. Both routes are documented, and neither is proven faster for every account.

Getting around after unlocking

The small button above the shop — the height button — opens a display of every area along with the jump height needed to reach it, and doubles as the teleport menu: click any island you have unlocked to travel there instantly. It is easy to miss; one player recorded several sessions before noticing it existed. Use it alongside the table above to pick your next gate.

When an island won't unlock

  • The gate ignores you — your counter has not covered the price yet. The gate display shows exactly how much is left.
  • A gem upgrade won't open — some upgrades are capped by your current island, and at least one tier required unlocking Crystal Cave first. Treat it as island-gated progress, not a bug.
  • The double jump purchase is refused — you lack the gems. Earn more through rebirths and come back.
  • You fell off the cloud path — the documented fallback is to buy the island with clicks instead, or buy more jumps first.
  • A later portal opened while an earlier island stayed locked — that is supported: one player with an overpowered pet team unlocked a later portal and "completely skipped the previous island." You never bypass a gate price except by physically jumping there, but strict order is not forced.

Where the map currently ends

Shadow World at 19 quadrillion is the last area — the creator who reached it calls it "the max area we can get to." Because the observed footage is from launch week and a new world is expected in a future update, recheck gate prices and the area count after each release; the updates page tracks changes. For what each island contains once you are inside — eggs, upgrades and minigames — use the island list.
