Tap Simulator: Reborn Bouncy License Guide
The complete Bouncy License unlock walkthrough for Tap Simulator: Reborn: the autumn island NPC behind the gem upgrades, the 20-slime prerequisite, and every step to the course finish line.
You earn the Bouncy License in Tap Simulator: Reborn by completing a hidden obstacle course. The route starts at an easy-to-miss NPC behind the gem upgrades on the autumn island: he asks for 20 slime, molds you a bouncy key in exchange, and teleports you to the bouncy license course. Cross the finish line there and the license is yours — it lets you bounce around the map on a bouncy ball outside the minigame.

What the Bouncy License is
Two similarly named things sit on this path, and they play different roles:
- Bouncy key — the item you buy from the NPC for 20 slime. It gets you into the bouncy license course.
- Bouncy License — the reward for finishing that course. Its documented effect is movement: once you have it, you can use the bouncy ball outside the minigame and bounce around the map, which is exactly how one creator gets around after earning it.
No other benefit from the license — stats, luck, coins, or progression — has been shown, so treat it as a traversal unlock rather than a power boost.
Where the quest starts
The whole objective lives on the autumn island, and that island is a hard prerequisite: as the walkthrough puts it, "if you don't have that unlocked, then you can't do this." The exact requirement for unlocking the island itself is a separate progression question — see the Tap Simulator: Reborn how to unlock islands guide if you're not there yet.
Once you're on the autumn island, walk over to the gem upgrades and look for the NPC standing nearby. Talking to him runs his dialogue — "I'm the invisible toilet, but you can't see me. But I can see you want to bounce. Bring me 20 slime and I'll mold you a bouncy key." — and then the conversation asks whether you want to go to the bouncy license course.
The spot is genuinely easy to miss. One tips creator says finding it took him "at least 20 minutes" the first time, precisely because it sits at the back of the autumn area where late-game players rarely go.
Get 20 slime from glow mushrooms
The NPC's own dialogue points you to the slime source: "Glow mushrooms on mushroom island. Drop it when you break them." In practice:
- Travel to mushroom island.
- Find the glow mushroom — the little mushroom figure there.
- Tap it to kill it. Each kill drops 4 slime.
- Repeat about five times until you have 20 slime.
Then head back to the autumn island's gem upgrades area.
Step-by-step: getting the Bouncy License
- Make sure the autumn island is unlocked — without it, the license can't be attempted.
- On mushroom island, tap the glow mushroom until it dies, and repeat until you've collected 20 slime (4 per kill, roughly five kills).
- Return to the autumn island and approach the NPC behind the gem upgrades.
- Press E to interact — on mobile, just tap him — and confirm you want to spend the 20 slime to get the bouncy key.
- Say yes to teleport to the bouncy license course.
- Ride the bouncy ball through the course's obstacles. The final stretch is the toughest part, but the course overall is manageable.
- Reach the finish line at the end — crossing it grants the Bouncy License.
How hard is the course?
Players disagree, so go in with realistic expectations. The tips creator calls it an "insanely difficult" minigame — "unbelievably annoying to get, but actually really fun" — and declines to run it again on camera. The dedicated walkthrough is more relaxed: it "can get pretty hard at the end, but it's really not too hard." The one point both agree on is that the ending stretch demands the most care.
Confirming you've got it
Success is unmistakable: a finish line stands at the end of the course, and reaching it converts your bouncy key into the Bouncy License. From then on, the bouncy ball is available outside the minigame — if you can bounce around the open map on it, the license is in.
A note on updates
This route was captured in footage recorded right around the game's launch — the walkthrough opens by noting Tap Simulator: Reborn "came out yesterday" — so treat the details as launch-era. If a later update changes islands, dialogue, or the course, recheck the steps in-game before assuming the old path still holds.
