Tap Simulator: Reborn Global Leaderboard: Where to Find It and What Rankings Mean
The global leaderboard in Tap Simulator: Reborn sits at spawn next to the index machine and gem upgrades. Learn what the pet power, rebirths and secret hatches boards rank and how your global rank number works.
In Tap Simulator: Reborn, the leaderboards are not tucked into a menu — they are physical boards standing in the spawn area of the lobby, right beside the index machine and the gem-upgrade (skill tree) station. The boards rank pet power, rebirths and secret pets hatched, and the "global rank" number on your profile panel is your standing on the pet power board. The displayed rank refreshes on a delay rather than in real time, so treat it as a snapshot, not a live feed.

Where to find the leaderboard
Head to the center of spawn and look for the board cluster next to the index machine and the gem-upgrade station. Launch-day footage shows the pet power, rebirths and secret hatches boards grouped together there, with the pet power and rebirth boards sitting near the lobby's seasonal pets. The cluster is distinctive enough that players use it as a navigation point — one creator directs viewers to a hidden lobby shiny star "right behind the secrets hatched leaderboard."
A pre-release test-server tour of the same lobby also lists an egg hatcher leaderboard among the boards. Post-launch footage consistently names the pet power, rebirths and secret hatches boards, so expect those three as the standing set.
What each board measures
Each board sorts by its own metric, and the values on display are other players' totals:
| Board | Ranking metric | Example display from launch-window sessions |
|---|---|---|
| Pet power | Total pet power carried in your inventory | One session's visible range ran from 68 million at the bottom to 150 million at the top, with 66 million around top 20 at the time |
| Rebirths | Rebirth count | One creator found a leader near 9 trillion rebirths, with the next entries at 7 and 4 trillion |
| Secret hatches | Secret pets hatched | New secret hatches appear live — one creator watched a 1-in-4-million Forsaken Knight from the final area land on the board |
| Egg hatcher | Eggs hatched | Listed in pre-release test-server footage; post-launch footage names the other three boards |
Every value in that table is a single-session observation from around launch. They show the kind of number each board displays, not what the boards show today.
What your global rank means
The profile panel in the bottom-right corner shows your global rank alongside pet power, rebirths and click power. Judging by how those numbers move together across different players' sessions, the rank tracks your pet power standing:
- A brand-new player at 362 pet power showed global rank 7,300.
- One creator climbed from rank 217 at 39 million pet power to 159 at roughly 71 million, and guessed that 100 million would be "probably top 100."
- Another sat at rank 108 with 97 million pet power, then hit 95th at 105 million.
- A player who reached 194 million pet power placed number 14.
These are launch-window readings, not official thresholds — the pet-power basis of the global rank is observed behavior rather than a labeled rule, and the numbers involved shift as the player base grows. Use them to understand the scale, not as fixed targets.
How placements behave
A few observable rules explain what you see on the boards and on your profile:
- The rank updates on a delay. One creator notes the rank "updates every once in a while" and twice waits through the lag — 208 to 189, then 166 to 159 — before newly hatched pet power turned into a better rank. The exact refresh interval has never been stated; expect to wait a little after a big hatch before the number moves.
- The rank reads your current inventory, not a lifetime best. Crafting pets into diamond or rainbow consumes them first, so the rank temporarily dips and recovers: one player fell to 109 while making diamond pets and rebuilt back to 91st. Deleting weak pets and refilling your slots moves the number the same way.
- Robux pets don't count. A top-100 player states that Robux-purchased pets do not count toward leaderboard totals, so buying pets is not a shortcut up the board.
- Placements move while you're away. One creator saw his rebirth-board total fall behind after skipping rebirths overnight, and watched his own global rank slide from 115 to 208 between days as other players climbed.
- The display itself changes. Shortly after launch, a player couldn't scroll the board past the visible entries; a later session notes "they finally added a scroll." Board capacity can change in updates.
Rewards for top 10, top 100 and top 250
The leaderboard UI advertises placement rewards in tiers: pets for roughly top 10, top 100 and top 250. A launch-week player reported being "already in the running for the top 250 pet," with a top 100 pet and a top 10 pet believed to sit above it. Holding the spot matters: a player who broke into top 10 explained that "if we stay top 10 when this is done, we will get all three of these pets" — and kept hatching afterward so he would not lose the place before the period ended.
Two caveats: descriptions of the reward differ — most accounts describe pets, while one creator pitched the pet power board as a free-to-play route to game passes — and "top 100" is a reward tier, not a confirmed entry count. Nothing shown establishes that the board lists exactly 100 names when scrolled.
When to recheck your placement
Your global rank on the profile panel is the quickest read on your standing; the physical boards show the entry values around you. Recheck after a hatching or crafting spree once the display has had time to refresh, since the number lags your inventory. And because placements drift as other players progress — including while you're offline — a rank that looks stale may simply reflect someone else's session, not a problem with your pets.
The board values quoted on this page come from launch-window sessions and will not match what you see in game today; treat them as demonstrations of how the boards work, not as a standings list. If you want to evaluate how your progress choices might improve a rank, the leaderboard tips guide covers that side of the system.
