Tap Simulator: Reborn Mythic Pets: Verified List & Sources

Five Mythic pets are verified in Tap Simulator: Reborn — Cerberus, Queen Bee, Mushroom Serpent, Scarab and Sands of Time — plus every witnessed source egg.

Five Mythic pets are verified in current Tap Simulator: Reborn gameplay: Cerberus, Queen Bee, Mushroom Serpent, Scarab and Sands of Time. Each has a witnessed hatch source, and two of them had odds displayed on screen. The table below is the full confirmed roster — everything else players call "Mythic" is listed separately near the bottom as unconfirmed.

What Mythic means in this game

Mythic is a genuine in-game rarity, sitting above Epic and Legendary. Players recognize a fresh hatch by color — one hatcher spells out the code as "purple's epic. Orange is legendary. And then like reddish is mythical." Above Mythic there is a separate Secret tier with far rarer odds, which is a different rarity, not a Mythic variant. Mythics also come in upgraded forms: golden, diamond and rainbow copies are all witnessed, including "rainbow mythicals and then diamond mythicals in from the best area."

If you want the roster outside this rarity, the full pet list covers every tier, and the Secret pets page handles the tier above Mythic.

The five verified Mythic pets

Cerberus

The endgame Mythic. It hatches from the only egg in the final void/shadow zone — the area players call the Shadow Realm — which one player explicitly double-checked as "the best egg in the game" before hatching it. A hatched Cerberus showed a "Mythical 192,000" stat panel, and golden, diamond and rainbow copies have all appeared in footage. Captions render the name as "Cberus", so treat that spelling as a transcription artifact rather than the game's official label. One player hatched a Cerberus within a few godly hatches and immediately switched to farming a full team of nine for the zone's bonus money.

Queen Bee

The most accessible Mythic: one fresh account hatched it from the early starter-area eggs within minutes of starting the game. That sighting displayed a 0.5% chance and 681 stats, and the hatcher called it "my first mythical and my best pet." A separate all-eggs run also pulled a Queen Bee from a starter egg, so it is repeatable at the source rather than a one-off fluke on tape.

Mushroom Serpent

Comes from the mushroom island egg. In the witnessed session, the same egg produced the zone's Fungi Dragon — which the hatcher identified as "the legendary" — and then the Serpent, announced as "We got the mythical." That makes the Serpent the egg's Mythic slot, one step above the Fungi Dragon.

Scarab

Hatched from a desert-zone egg while a 5x Mythic event was running: "Oh, we did it. Scarab, we got it. We got the mythical." The desert is the fourth zone and also holds the game's named Cactus egg, but the footage never shows which desert egg the Scarab actually came out of — so the Cactus egg is the zone's named egg, not a confirmed Scarab source.

Sands of Time

The one premium Mythic. It is listed at 6% in the limited-time Chronus egg, a 399-Robux egg whose lineup reads 34%, 34%, celestial timepiece 26%, Sands of Time 6% — with the egg's secret being Chronus itself at 0.1%. Because the egg is flagged limited time, this source may not be permanent; the 6% figure applies to that lineup as shown.

Timing your hatches: 5x Mythic events and luck boosts

Three hatching aids are witnessed in the game:

  • 5x Mythic server events. These recur and multiply mythic chances for a short window — "a five times chance for mythic pets event has just started." The windows are brief (witnessed runs of roughly one to one and a half minutes), players rush to their target egg the moment one begins, and events visibly expire — one player arrived just in time for "Mythic event ended. Sadly, I missed it." The Scarab was hatched inside one of these windows.
  • A "5x mythical luck" boost. This can be equipped before a hatching session and is separate from the server events.
  • Recurring mythic-pet popups. One long-session grinder says the popups appear every few minutes and calls them a key strategy, because they hand out pets while you play.

The practical pattern: hold your hatch currency until a 5x Mythic event starts, equip your luck boost, then hatch at the egg that hosts your target Mythic. The egg hatching guide covers the hatching mechanics themselves.

What a Mythic hatch gives you

The one witnessed Mythic-specific payoff beyond the pet itself: after a newcomer hatched his first Mythic (Queen Bee), his backpack menu gained enchant crystals "for getting mythic pets" — a currency used in the game's enchant machine. Beyond the two stat panels shown on screen (Queen Bee at 681, Cerberus at 192,000), other Mythic stats and bonuses have not been shown.

Mythics seen but not yet confirmed

More Mythics exist than the five names above, but these sightings don't pin down a name or a rarity label, so they stay separate from the verified roster:

  • Forsaken Knight — spotted once as another player's "golden mythic" during an early-access test; a plausible name, but a single sighting without the hatcher's own label check.
  • An angel pet — a tester hatched one (81 damage) and was himself unsure whether it was "another mythical or at least epic."
  • "Immortal Pumpkin" — obtained through the recurring mythic popups in an all-pets run, but the Arabic caption's rarity word (أسطوري) translates as either Mythic or Legendary, so its rarity stays open.
  • "Ventacle" — a top-10 leaderboard player hoped for it during a mythic event; the name is garbled in captions and appears nowhere else.
  • Unnamed Mythics — Crystal Cove's "best mythical from the area" (one player owns four golden copies without ever naming it), a mid-game run's "first mythicals, which do 58,000," and a golden first Mythic on a top-10 run all confirm the roster extends past the five verified pets.

Odds, spellings and what's still unknown

Only two Mythic odds are witnessed: Queen Bee's 0.5% and Sands of Time's 6% in the Chronus egg. The chances for Cerberus, Mushroom Serpent and Scarab were never shown, and nothing in the footage indicates a pity system or guaranteed route to any Mythic — only the event and luck boosts above improve the attempt.

Two cautions when comparing notes with other players: these names come from creator gameplay footage, sometimes via auto-captions in several languages, so spellings may differ from the game's official labels ("Cberus" being the clearest example). And updates can change the pet roster, eggs and odds, so check the egg index for current egg locations and lineups, and the updates page after new content drops.
